Responsibilities:

• Organization of annual inspection and maintenance of cathodic protection systems at all company facilities
• Evaluating the results of inspection of cathodic protection systems, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of existing cathodic protection at all company facilities
• Assessment of the status of existing cathodic protection systems, development and implementation of measures for their modernization or repair if necessary
• Review and optimization of existing procedures for inspection, maintenance and operation of cathodic protection systems
• Determining the condition of coatings and issuing recommendations for their restoration if necessary

Requirements:

• Higher technical education, engineer qualification in areas related to electrochemical protection and other methods of corrosion protection
• The certificate of a specialist in electrochemical protection
• Availability of a certificate of a specialist in the quality of painting works of the second level
• Experience in the field of cathodic protection in the oil and gas industry for at least three years, including experience in working with sacrificial anodes and cathodic protection systems with external current supply for pipelines and structures
• Experience with protective coatings, their types, surface preparation, application of coatings, criteria for evaluating coatings, mechanisms of degradation of coatings and methods of their repair
• Experience in designing and installing cathodic protection systems, as well as experience in restoring and upgrading already installed cathodic protection systems
• Readiness for business trips to remote land and sea facilities of the company
• English is not below the average level

Conditions:

• Place of work: Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk
• Working hours: 5/2, full-time
• For nonresident candidates, compensation for the cost of moving and renting housing is provided
